The ISO 9001 quality management system is the most common and important national and international standard for quality management. For us a certification according to ISO 9001 is key for ongoing improvement of our own quality management systems (QMS).
ISO 9001 specifies requirements for a quality management system which have to be fulfilled by a company to achieve the customers’ requirements and furthermore meet product- and service standards. With implementation of a QM system we are, for example, able to:
- increase the transparency of operational processes
- increase the level of customers satisfaction
- reduce costs by minimizing the error ratio
One of the essentials of ISO 9001 is to focus on process. A process focussed QM system goes along with all essential operational processes by continual testing. This enables us to find room for improvement even in solid and efficient organizations.
